Sven Berlin loved Chrome Yellow. It appeared frequently in his work, in particular his oils, the vibrant colour lifting his mood. Even the boards of his book The Dark Monarch were bright yellow, with red labels. This painting was made to celebrate a pullover knitted for him by his daughter Greta. Holding it up, he is unsure it will fit...
