Today, 5 years ago, Sven Berlin's White Buck carving arrived in Godshill in the New Forest. This is the team that saved it from demolition - and, of course, the staff at the Fawley site who had lived with him for over 50 years! This Carrara marble bas-relief weighs 7.5 tons and measures 11ft x 7ft! In his lifetime, Sven told us that he could 'easily' arrange for it to be 'moved' for any exhibition we wanted to stage! Mmmm!
